How We Started

Taylor and Misa met while working together at 1stDibs in 2021.  During their time there, the company went public and the two of them played integral roles in alleviating the data requirements necessary to transition the company from private to public.  They understood that a strong data foundation not only empowered company stakeholders to gain immediate insights into business operations, but also made advanced analytics and complex data integrations possible.  In the age of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Misa and Taylor realized the increasing importance of Data Literacy to understand how your business is performing.  

As the saying goes, “It takes a village to raise a child”.  We believe that this axiom can be extended to bringing your business into this new era of data and technology.  

As a result, My Digital Village was founded in 2023.

Taylor Bragg

Co-Founder

Taylor has a proven track record of expertise and innovation in data management and systems optimization across dynamic industries. With a foundation in computer science from Stanford University, Taylor has cultivated a robust skill set in data architecture and database administration.

Having navigated the intricacies of regulatory strategies at FoxKiser, a leading law firm in pharmaceutical compliance, Taylor orchestrated a transformative overhaul of their internal data systems. This included designing and implementing a cutting-edge (at the time!) data model, empowering efficient research and legal document management.

Transitioning to NCC Media, a pivotal player in national TV advertising, Taylor honed his proficiency in database administration and query optimization. Collaborating closely with Senior Database and System Administrators, they streamlined reporting procedures and enhanced data pipelines, ensuring seamless operations critical to advertising sales.

At 1stDibs, a premier luxury e-commerce platform, Taylor spearheaded the development of a robust data warehousing infrastructure. This initiative included integrating diverse third-party platforms, optimizing complex queries, and deploying advanced business intelligence tools. Their strategic insights and ad-hoc analytics capabilities were pivotal in driving data-driven decision-making and operational excellence.

Misa Myong

Co-Founder

Misa has over eight years of data and project management experience within startup, fintech, outdoor recreation, retail, and ecommerce industries.  She has paved her own path within the data space as an analytics translator and has always been enamored by the intersection of business strategy, technology, and data.

She found her passion for data while studying at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and interning as an analyst at CareerBuilder and Patagonia.

Upon graduating, Misa joined SparkWorks Talent Strategies, a four person executive leadership consulting start-up. It was here where she had an opportunity to build the technological framework that would enable marketing intelligence insight.  By doing so, she learned how every system has its own data and how important it is to integrate the data between these varying platforms.  At Morningstar, she managed the Coupa software implementation and change management initiatives for the global finance transformation team.  At Camping World, Misa was brought in as the first enterprise business analyst and eventually spearheaded a Google Analytics data cleanup and event tracking restructure.  She also successfully implemented Segment CDP during her time here.

Her specialty working with Google Analytics led her to Taylor's team at 1stDibs! Misa lead the GA4 migration for the ecommerce marketplace platforms on both the websites and iOS mobile applications. Her success in establishing data governance and transparency built accountability around the Google Analytics data source and empowered users across the company to understand and derive business decisions from it.

Misa’s experience as a business analyst, software implementation project manager, and Google Analytics data admin lend towards her unique data perspective across the full data spectrum from creation to ingestion.  She has an uncanny ability to navigate organizations as an analytics translator - bridging the communications between business needs and technical solutions.
